There once was a site that could give your eyes ADHD. Animated gifs battled over a clashing pinball sea. It was the awesomest site on the internet. A car-crash lava lamp. And thats before you got to the music. Now www.sonidochangorama.com returns 404s and the internet is a slightly duller place. Unsure if Sonido Changorama are still out there – their myspace shows life but garbled babelfish messages have fallen on deaf inboxes.

Sonido Del Principe from the awesome Generation Bass blog has dropped a mix of his trademark bass-heavy Nu Cumbia remixes.
I don’t think we’ve thrown a night where we haven’t played at least one Sonido Del Principe track and out of two FFTANG! FFTANG! mixtapes he’s cropped up thrice. Suffice to say we fanboys.
This time round the mixed ape has a Latin American lean on, which means Cumbia Nueva by the shedloads. Nuyorican legends Joe Cuba and Willie Colón get love and we end on a couple of Brazilian clássicos. Also there’s some Bavarian brass band Berlin bounce and we make up for the lack of Balkan Bangers in the first installment by including some of the more popular remixes floating around the blogonets.
